Little Miss Picasso.

I have been trying to find some fun activities for Claire to do, since the summer days are so long. I have realized that she loves to color and draw (since we have crayon on our bedroom walls), so I went to Michaels and got some acrylic paint, brushes & canvases. I opened them up and let her go for it. She was so excited about the paint colors & that she could actually make a mess & I wasn't getting upset:) She painted a picture & we gave it to Jonathan for Father's Day (yes, I am behind on my blogging). He loved it of course. Here is our little artist in action...

I love how she is concentrating so hard on her painting.

She is a lefty just like daddy!

All the "pridy cuyers" as Claire would say:)

Please ignore her crazy hair...not really sure what is going on here.

The finished product!! I think it's great for her first painting.

I think she looks just like Emily when she was little in the last picture! Except with less hair.

I see a resemblance too! Claire wears paint so well. Always a fashionista. I love the intense look on her face while she is creating her masterpiece.

So cute!!! The diaper only outfit is the best way to paint too! :)

Super fun! I wish I had taken pictures of Rebekah doing art. She has always loved painting/coloring! Have you thought about buying watercolors? They are washable, and you can use regular old computer paper!
