it's official...

this beautiful girl is now hermana murphy.

my little sis caitlyn went into the MTC today. i don't think it has totally hit me. it is a really weird feeling to not be able to call her or text her when i want, considering we usually talk several times a day. i guess i just have to get used to it! her mission will be such a great experience for her though & we couldn't be happier that she decided to go & serve. des moines, iowa here she comes (well, in 9 weeks anyway).

my little sister caitlyn recently got her mission call to des moines, iowa - spanish speaking. she goes into the MTC next wednesday & will be there for 9 weeks - we couldn't be more excited for her. we know that her serving a mission will be a great blessing to her, the people she serves, & to our family (who are not lds). jonathan & I are  so proud of her for the choice she made to be baptized a little over a year ago, for her testimony & for her desire to share the gospel with others. she is a great example to us. 

we went to the temple with her last saturday & then sunday we had a family going away party. here are some photos of the fun...
