jonathan calls it "daddy daughter time". i reminded him that claire is only 7 weeks old & i am not quite sure that she enjoys watching football just yet. i walked into the room & overheard him telling her that she can only cheer for BYU or USC. my poor baby girl. it's starting already.

Are you telling me that she isn't an Angels Baseball Fan?
Too cute!
At our house that same rules apply! They look so cute together watching football. However, I do agree with Grandma G being an Angels fan is a necessity of life.
The BYU or USC was only in regards to football. Of course she will be an angels fan. daddy already wants to take her to a game!!
Yeah, that looks familiar. We (Andrew and the boys+grandma) religious watch USC every week. Carson has jerseys, warm up suits, and jackets. Carson's destiined to be a fan too. The worst thing is afternoon games because there is inevitably another game on after.
That sounds all too familiar! Jack was born on a Monday evening in November.. "just in time for Monday night football!" Steve said as cradled his newborn in his arms and nestled into the hospital chair. And let's just say things haven't really changed much, especially as the college season rolls around.
Look at it as great daddy/daughter bonding time. And just think, she'll impress all the guys down the road with all the football lingo that she started learning at a VERY early age.
good point whitney:)
Rebekah told Richad's mom that "daddy is scarin' me" during a BYU game two years ago. We have never lauged so hard! (He was very animated during the game...he was generally horse after evey game - even when watching it on TV!) He's much mellow-er for her now.
