miss caitlyn

my little sister caitlyn recently got her mission call to des moines, iowa - spanish speaking. she goes into the MTC next wednesday & will be there for 9 weeks - we couldn't be more excited for her. we know that her serving a mission will be a great blessing to her, the people she serves, & to our family (who are not lds). jonathan & I are  so proud of her for the choice she made to be baptized a little over a year ago, for her testimony & for her desire to share the gospel with others. she is a great example to us.

we went to the temple with her last saturday & then sunday we had a family going away party. here are some photos of the fun...

Wow, I had no idea she was just baptized when I met her at the shower. I was just impressed that she was going on a mission...that is even more impressive!
p.s. she is SO cute, but that goes without saying I think:)

Jill!!

I just had to leave a comment about your gorgeous sister going to Des Moines.... that's the mission I live in!! The mission presidents are great. As a little side job, I used to clean their basement after transfers (downstairs are several bedrooms and bathrooms). Iowa is a great place! We really like it here. Hopefully she will too. But there are some pretty remote places the missionaries serve in, so who knows! Unfortunately, we never see the spanish speaking missionaries because we don't live in a spanish branch. I'll look for her at stake conference if she ends up in the Des Moines area!

Anyways, I also am glad you posted pictures of her friends... Dallin Anderson is like my little brother. I love that kid. He and my brother are the same age and spent a lot of time together. And Janessa Evans is such a cutie. Her mom was my Laurel leader in GB. I love her family!

Anyways, wow. Sorry to comment so much, but I just got so excited when I saw your post! You look great and I can't wait to see baby Claire when she gets here!

Caitlyn looks so happy--not to mention so freakin' beautiful! Her smile just lights up a room when she is in it. I am so excited for her and know that her serving a mission will not only bless her but your whole family--what a great thing she is doing!!! Way to be a great example to her Jilly!
